If there is one thing I love, it is making you discover new brands. Big, global but small as well. There are so many of them and sometimes it is a bit hard to find what you are looking for. Thus, I have decided to start a new blog post series dedicated to small businesses. And today, I am starting with the first brand, Livvy and Rose.
Livvy and Rose are a small start-up company based mainly online but that also do fashion shows, events and pop up shops. They sell fashion and accessories for ladies and little girls and they recently launched a Curve range to offer sizes from 8-28. They aim to provide stylish, on-trend fashion at affordable prices and want to offer something unique to their customers so they will love shopping with the brand and come back for more! Livvy and Rose recently won the Theo Paphitis #SBS award, the #SmartSocial award on Twitter and they were also a finalist in the Inspire Women Awards (Entrepreneur and Start-Up category) earlier this year.
A small business that has achieved quite a lot already and strives to go even further!
There are a few things I really like about the brand. First, its inclusivity. All the pieces go from size 8 to 28, which means a very large number of women can wear them. Second, the variety of designs and styles. You know my love for colors so this brand could only be a win! A finally, the small prices which won’t break the bank!
Livvy and Rose sent me two dresses as part of our collaboration. I took them both with me on my holiday to Corsica and they were perfect. The first dress is an orange sundress that makes the perfect beach cover up. The second dress is a butterfly print dress that is a great addition to your summer wardrobe and can be worn on a city stroll or on an evening out! As I was on holiday, my choice of accessories was limited so I styled both with my bamboo bag, a pair of wedges, some aviator sun glasses and my brother’s Panama hat!
What do you think?
Have you ever heard of Livvy and Rose before? What do you think of the brand? Do you like the designs? What do you think of this new blog series? Are you one to support small businesses too?
Thanks a lot for stopping by. I hope you liked this post.
See you soon,
*Both dresses featured in this posts are gifts but all opinions remain my own
