You know about my jumpsuit obsession. I talked about it a few times on the blog already. A little story on going to the toilet while wearing a jumpsuit. And a few things about me you might not know. I am taking my jumpsuit obsession a bit further today with a matchstick print jumpsuit that Joy The Store kindly sent me.
How it all started is quite funny. I was looking at my wardrobe, thinking that I really love wearing jumpsuits at the moment and that I should buy some more. After all, they are perfect for summer. Light and easy to wear. While allowing for hiding hairs when my legs are not waxed (Joke aside). So I was about to do some shopping… When Joy The Store contacted me for a collaboration. If this was not fate, I don’t know what it is.
So naturally, I said yes!
I have to be honest though. Usually, I would not have gone for such a funky print. Yeah, to me, those matchsticks are funky. Indeed, I would have probably chosen something simpler like stripes or dots. So I decided that because I don’t wear that kind of print usually, then I should go for itt! Pushing boundaries you know, one little step at a time!
But isn’t it what fashion is made for? Challenging yourself. Going for a piece that is different from you usually wear. Trying something new.
And what a good decision! I have had bad ideas in the past – like really bad – but this one is not one of those.
I am absolutely in love with this jumpsuit. The V neck, the cut, the belt, the fabric and the print. I just really like how it looks on me and how perfect for spring it is! I can tell I am going to be wearing it often! It is also quite easy to style. Pick a jacket whose colour is one of the matchsticks – red, green or yellow – giving you quite the choice!
And If you are not much into jumpsuits, JOY The Store as a very nice selection of women’s dresses!
Also, I am getting used to being on that side of the camera so I am not looking as awkward I has used to be. Thus, my photos are looking way nicer!

i love jumpsuits! first, they are super comfy and second, they are very stylish! and im glad that u tried the print as it is cute and i exactly know how you feel! but that is the beauty of fashion, it is not permanent and u can wear and unwear whenever you want! lovely pics to by the way!
I love jumpsuits too! Since im a nursing mom still, its an easy acess without compromising the style.

This jumpsuit is so cute. I’m not sure i would be able to wear it, things that are that long/short (mid length?) usually make me a little crazy because I notice it all the time. But it looks so good on you!

This jumpsuit looks fabulous on you! I love the jumpsuit, the cut, the print. The print pops and that makes it attractive as well as the colors. The red jacket pulled the outfit together as would green.
I absolutely love funky prints like this so this jumpsuit is right up my street! You should definitely wear more prints like it as you totally rock it. Loving the styling too, the trainers make it look like such a comfy every day outfit!

You do look great in a jumpsuit. But I am with you. I think the match sticks are a bit much for the outfit. I think the dots would look a lot better with the jumpsuit though.
