While Gin is my favorite liquor to use in cocktails, Aperol Spritz is my absolute favorite drink. I had Aperol Spritz for the first time when I studied in Turin, Italy. Since then, I have made it my mission to convert people to that amazing drink. Got my parents AND my grandparents to adopt it. As well as my husband, some friends and more.

Not that I will ever get bored of the drink but I am still interested in finding alternatives and new ways of making Spritz. There are many ways to make a Spritz. I have done so with Limoncello. Love it, such a success. Campari Spritz is also amazing!
And so with the summer coming, I was looking for new ways to use Aperol in cocktails. It is after going out one night for drinks and having a frozen mango margarita that I told myself “why not make frozen Aperol Spritz?”. After all, since it is the perfect holiday and summer drink, it would make a great frozen cocktail. What say you?
