I have developed a thing for animal prints. You must know by now. I went all out with a red cheetah print co-ord. Then, I slowed down and incorporated the leopard print in an outfit much more subtly. Animal prints are super in right now so I guess my obsession is a good thing! Especially when it gives me the perfect excuse to try another print, the zebra print.
Horizontal or vertical, there is not rule. It looks just as good for both! And even better when combined in one single piece! Like this zebra print maxi dress from Shein. Ornamented with a belt finishing in a bow, what else to ask for?
For a very long time, I have just been wearing mini or skater dresses. I am not particularly tall nor am I slender, thus I always thought that only skater dress could work with my curves. The skirt would embrace my hips and highlight my size. Perfect. I was convinced that a midi, even worse, a maxi dress, would me me look small and much larger.
Yeah, I know, stupid. But you know, the path to self-confidence and body acceptance is long, takes time and paved with obstacles.
Turns out, a midi dress, when fitted and styled properly makes you long taller and is super chic!
Back to the point.
And last year, I bought my first maxi dress and loved it! Ever since, I have been wearing midi and maxi dresses (and skirts) alike. Moreover, when you choose clothes that you love and that you feel comfortable in, well, you look good in them. As simple as that.
So, that zebra print. And that maxi dress.
A zebra print piece of clothing is quite a statement piece already. You can go all out and style with other prints (although I don’t know which). Or be on the safer side and style with neutral solid colors. Like black. A black cardigan and black boots for an easy yet chic styling. Some chunky golden earrings for the vintage touch.
And of course, my absolute favorite, used in a few outfits already, a must-have piece of my spring-summer wardrobe, the cutest ever, this straw bag! I got it from Topshop last year and oh god! can’t do without!
Plus, just in case you just fell in love with that zebra print maxi dress from Shein, and want you treat yourself, you know, because it is miserable outside, well, my code 9TEA gives you 15% off when you spend €49 or more on their website!

I don’t think I’ve ever owned anything Zebra print?! It’s not really an animal print I would reach for in the shops for some reason but this looks great on you! (But then again, everything does!) <3

I love all animal print but Iβve never been so sure about zebra print but I really love the print on your dress. Iβm very short and Iβve never really worn maxi dresses before but I found some that I love that actually fit me! Iβm definitely going to be trying out some more zebra print x
Animal prints are really making their way into fashion – first it was the cheetah print and now weβre onto Zebra! I love the way you styled it, since the zebra print is already a statement itself, choosing to pair it with solids (like the color black) really makes the outfit shine. I usually stick to Maxi dresses/skirts but it has to flow a certain way for me to be convinced I make it work haha. I donβt think Iβve owned any animal print clothing – which is really surprising considering how itβs such a huge trend – I also really love the boots you paired this outfit with!

I remember your other animal print post which I loved. I’m a huge fan of leopard print but I’ve never attempted zebra for some reason. But this dress looks amazing, and very wearable too, I will have to head over to Shein for a browse shortly, thank you for the recommendation π x

Loving the zebra print dress! The length is so nice too, definitely suits you!
I love a maxi dress but at 5″ 3 finding one that isn’t too long can be a struggle! I may have to look on Shein for a new dress now!
Lovely post with lovely photos.

Gorgeous photos, as always! The zebra print looks so lovely next to the pink! I don’t own a single zebra print item, I don’t think I ever have! It looks lovely, I think i’ve just tended to stick with leopard print for some reason, maybe purely because it’s more common? The dress and books combo work so well!
Hels xx
I adore maxi dresses, although I am really short – so sometimes it’s a struggle! But they are the best for spring/summer – easy to put on and hides my legs (not a fan of mine) but a dress nonetheless! I feel like I can only get away with wearing printed clothes on holiday! I should defo take leaf of of your book and do it!

I don’t think I’ve ever tried anything in zebra print before! I love how you aren’t afraid to experiment with stuff like this. Interesting what you said about skirt lengths because I always feel like my body drowns in midi and maxi styles as I’m short x

I love zebra print. And, I love to pair it up with one pop of color. Humm…I feel like I need to go shopping now.
These are such beautiful photos and that dress is gorg!! I would love to be brave enough to wear something like that!
A few people can carry that kind of print and you just did it. Congrats
I’m not a huge ‘animal-print’ person! But, this dress is adorable and I really like how you were able to pull it off!
I have a zebra pattern pant and I often wear it. It is good.
I never had zebra design clothes. This one looks cool on you.
The zebra print is a bold print and I think only a handful of people can pull it off, I’m a cheetah print kind of girl, but you rock the zebra print good. π
This Zebra print dress looks a stylish selection for you. I can see everyone is in love wit this design. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Corinne!! ?
I have also been embracing the animal print trend as it has come back around. I have a leopard print dress, a skirt in the same print (green!) and a more normal brown leopard print skirt.
I have recently purchased a zebra print maxi dress from F&F after I saw Vix Meldrew wearing it! I wasn’t sure if it looked good on me but i have had compliments on it since wearing it which just makes me feel so good! ?
You look amazing in your photos Corinne, this print really suits you! ?
Love Sarah xoxo
Your dress looks really nice. I haven’t bought a zebra print dress lately I think I need to get one.
Zebra print is super hot! I personally love to the bottom of my heart. It is edgy but not as easy to feel tacky in as leopard. Overall I vote for zebra for animal print.
Your totally rock this outfit by the way, the diva!
This is one of my most favorite prints. There is just something about animal prints. I cannot wait to get one similar to this.
That dress looks so pretty and elegant and it looks so good on you. I love Zebra prints!
