How To Find The Perfect Jeans*

What is your biggest struggle in life? Mine is finding the perfect jeans! The pair of jeans that will hug my figure perfectly! Well, okay, not THE biggest struggle in my life, but one of the biggest, if not, a very significant one! As a matter of fact, I have even given up on trying jeans on in shops because I already know that they won’t fit. There’s always something wrong.

Too short. Too tight. My size is too small. The size up is too big. Or other way round. Perfect at the front, gap at the back. Too long. There’s a camel toe. They make me thighs bigger than what they are. They make me look smaller. I can’t even close at the waist. While a 10 or 12 should fit me, I can’t even get into a 16 in H&M. The list is indeed so long, but can be summed up in one single word. NIGHTMARES, am I right?

And not so good for your body confidence.

Thus, I tend to avoid jeans, or any sort of trousers for that matter. You’ll very often see me wear dresses, skirts or playsuits and jumpsuits. Really rarely pants… Except for this post. But you know, only idiots never change their mind so when I had the opportunity to work with Camps United, I told myself “why not”. And when I saw those jeans, I just could not resist!

And I took the risk that they would not suit me at all. But that is what life is made for, taking risks. Otherwise it would be boring!

It was worth it! I had absolutely no problem putting the jeans on or closing at the top. The waist is just the right size, not too tight, not too wide. There is no gap at the back and I don’t need to wear them with a belt. The legs are also the right size. The jeans are hugging my figure perfectly. I mean, just see for yourself!

And this had not happened in ages!

The embroidery on the perfect jeans make all the talking and are pretty eye catchy so the styling was pretty easy on this one. White tee-shirt and color matching wedges – that I have had for 5 years! – along with a black straw bag with pom pom and funky earrings. To sum up, an outfit that remains simple in the key pieces but edgy in the accessories!

Shop the outfit
Tee-shirt – Mango via ASOS
Jeans – Camps United
Wedges – 3 Suisses (Old Collection)
Straw Bag – Topshop
Earrings – Antoine & Lili

What do you think of the whole outfit? Is it your style? Any item that you love? What about those jeans? Do you like their style?

Thanks a lot for stopping by! I hope hope you liked this post!

See you soon,
Love,
Corinne

*The jeans and earrings are gifts from brands but all opinions remain my own.

Those jeans look amazing on you!
I think this is my favourite outfit so far – it just looks so understated yet perfect and stylish all at once??
I always find that when I find jeans that *fit* I go back and bulk buy haha. It always crushes me when my favourites are discontinued.

I love your jeans especially the print on the jeans, it is just so chic and playful. I also love your pair of shoes, love the blue turqoise color, black and white. Gosh, this look simple but very fashionable.

One of my favorite pairs of jeans during my university years had embroidery on it and I probably wore it at least 100 times. It was a gift from my grandma, who surprised me with the pair of jeans when I came home from school one day. She got them from a neighbor who had a stall in the market, and they fit perfectly!

Shopping for jeans is the absolute worst! I have the same issues with sizing, one size is to small but the next size up is too big, I really hope to one day find a pair of jeans that will fit me just right.

Good to know. I usually buy jeans on sale and hope for the best. I can’t spend over $50 on a pair or else I’ll feel ridiculous. I really like your jeans!

Great to know. I more often than not purchase pants discounted and seek after the best. I can’t spend over $70 on a couple or else I’ll feel absurd. I extremely like your pants!

I tend not to go for jeans these days. I prefer more of a loose fit the older I get – but those jeans look so cute on you.
