Embracing The Floral Print This Spring

floral print

“Floral? For spring? Groundbreaking”. Well… the floral print might not be groundbreaking in spring because you know, flowers everywhere and things but… I would not wear it any other time to be honest! Like, do you see many collections with the floral print over winter time? No, I think not. As flowers come back for spring, so does the print so it is the perfect season to wear it, right?

And the fruit print for summer. Although you can keep the flowers for then too!

So why not combine two really cool trends together on this one? Floral print and maxi dress! I usually wear maxi dresses on holiday but I think that they are too cool to stay in your closet when it’s nice in the city. So yeah, they work then too.

This floral maxi wrap dress is a love at first sight. So much so that when I saw it sold out in my size, I risked getting it one size smaller – I liked it too much. And it sizes quite alright in my opinion. Beware though… It does not show there but it was quite funny when we did that photoshoot… A bit of wind or spreading your legs and everyone can see what’s going on underneath.

Or maybe it is just me who does not know how to wear it!

Anyway…

Accessorized with that amazing bamboo bag as always. I can’t get enough of it. So much so that I got it in a different shape and color. You’ll see it styled in a blog post very soon! Hope you like it as much as I do! And the aviator sunglasses to give me that sassy look – because that is something I can’t achieve, looking sassy without sunglasses. A denim jacket for when it get chilly because you know, I am a bit obsessed with them and some cool purple velvet block heels because velvet is quite on trend right now. Also, they are just £5 and you get 10% with my code MARIE10, so really, it’s a bargain you don’t want to miss out on.

So overall, the floral print might not be groundbreaking in spring but I still adore it and will embracing until fall starts! What about you?

So, what do you think? Is the floral print is yay or a nay? What about the maxi dress? Do you wear floral often? What’s your favorite print? What do you think of this outfit overall?

Thanks a lot for stopping by! Hope you liked it!

See you soon,
Love,
Corinne

I’m not much of a floral person and I am quite short so I don’t wear maxi dresses. This outfit definitely works for you though, it would be something I would wear if I was into that sort of thing. My style is much more spots and stripes. I have so many different striped tshirts I don’t know what to do with them. I prefer spotty dresses though.

I really should embrace more colour in my wardrobe, pretty much everything I own is solid black ? floral might be a jump too far though, I’m not really sure it would suit me ? gorgeous photos though ☺️ xx

I looove floral clothing. It’s definitely a favourite of mine, they are sooo pretty! I do try wear it in the spring/summer or the warmer days if it’s going into Autumn haha. It is a bit harder to get away with in the winter unless you have pretty jumpers with floral patterns! Love this dress, it looks so great on you. Great photos, as always 🙂
