We are at it again. Spring starts next week, YET… yet, it is snowing again! In the night of Friday to Saturday, we lost 12 degrees! It’s not as bad as a few weeks ago though! The snow is not heavy, does not stick to the ground and did not stop the country from working. But still… Spring starts next week!
Anyway. If you’re the kind of person who feels guilty for not leaving your flat at the weekend, the snow giveq you the perfect excuse! And Peppermint Grove Australia will make it worth your while. They are all you need to forget about the snow and stay cosy in your flat for a relaxing afternoon!
Before I tell you why, let me give you a bit more of a background. Peppermint Grove is a brand of home-made candles, diffusers and skincare products from South Wales, Australia. As the name indicates. They are all about sustainability and environment friendly processes and bring luxury and timeless sophistication to modern day contemporary living.
Now that the context is set, let’s move on to our day of relaxing. The team at Peppermint Grove was kind enough to send me a bag full of amazing products to make my room feel like a super cosy and relaxing place.
First thing first, candles. They set the atmosphere and immediately make you feel better. I always have one on in my room. They sent me a large freesia & berries candle. It smells absolutely divine and once the wax is fully used, I can recycle the glass into a vase. Most importantly, the lid is engraved with my Instagram handle. How cool?! I also got a small coconut, grapefruit & lime candle that has my blogger name engraved on the lid!
All set with candles. Time to make it even cozier. How? With a room diffuser. The good thing with diffusers is that you can have them out all the time. It’s not a candle. There is not danger hazard of burning your house to the ground if you forget to turn it off! Peppermint Grove sent me their Jasmin & Mint diffuser and it smells amazing! Jasmin is one of my fav sent and I love that it is quite subtle. If there is something I am not a fan of, it is super strong and overpowering fragrances.
Remember how snowy and cold it is outside? Check your hands. Dry right? They need some pampering and hydratation. Some hand cream is de rigueur. If you read previous posts, you know I hate it when hand creams requires you to use loads at once or take ages to sink in your skin. I did not have that impression at all with the Gardenia hand cream which sinks in the skin pretty quick, smells super good and is not runny at all. Also, look at the packaging! How beautiful and curated!
Let’s finish with the Red Plum & Rose Beauty Bar, shall we?! Beauty bar is another name for soap I assume but I have not tried it yet so I can’t tell you much about it for now. The only thing I can tell you is that everything else sets your room with a super cosy and relaxing atmosphere. Now, time to relax! Grab yourself a cup of tea, a good book (or your laptop for some TV shows if you prefer) and enjoy your afternoon!
Candles are a weak spot of mine so I am pretty picky when it comes to them. Same with hand creams. Yet, I am super happy with what Peppermint Grove sent me. Still got to try their beauty bar so will keep you updated on this one! Go check them out on Instagram!
Have you ever heard of Peppermint Grove Australia before? If yes, have you tried their products? What did you think? If no, would you give them a go? Are you spending your weekend in or out in the snow?
Thanks a lot for stopping by and reading the post! I hope you liked it!
See you soon,
